1. 主語はどこまでか。英語の主語述語とは何か。
2. 完全な文章と命令文
3. 目的語が2つある文（make）
4. 関係代名詞（主格、目的格）

1.英語の主語述語

1. The source code you pasted just now isn’t working. I wonder what’s wrong.
2. I thought you were talking about me.
3. What I’ve been doing was just useless.
4. That’s exactly what I’m talking about.
5. What I really mean is that impact of IoT isn’t really big yet.
6. What you have to pay attention to is not what to say, but how to say it.

英語の構造は、主語の後に動詞（大抵単語一つ）がある構造になっている。主語や目的語が長くなるので、どれが文全体の中心的な動詞なのかがつかみにくい。

他にも、thinkやknowの中に更に文章の構造をした節が入ることもあります。（上の例文2.）

文の一部や命令文

主語がない文の場合は、命令文の可能性がある。または、記事のタイトルや見出しなどでは必ずしも完全な文となっているわけではないので惑わされないように注意しよう。

4.SVOO、目的語が二つ使える動詞

本題に入る前の練習

1. I gave a lesson to my student.
2. I lent my pen to Bill.
3. I gave money to the street child.

本題のSVOOの構造を見てましょう。

1. I sent her a photo.
2. Ask me anything.
3. I lent Bill my phone.
4. Could you do me a favor?
5. He never told me the biggest secret.
6. He asked me how to get to Shinjuku Station.
7. I forgot to tell him how to unlock it.
8. You had to explain that to him.
9. Can you send me what I found on the Internet?

makeのパターン（SVOC）

「（何かを）大きくして」「人を怒らせる」など、「（形容詞）の状態にする」という意味です。

1. Make it bigger.
2. Don’t make me sad.
3. I wanted to make the situation better.
4. Make the icon smaller.
5. Our goal is to make the Internet accessible everywhere in this area.
6. I want to make it easy for you to learn English.

検索キーワードは「make　形容詞」など。

主格は「~する人」「~するもの」を表す
