英語の文がどんな順番で並んでいるのかを復習していきます。

be動詞という単純な構造

例えば、「君にやってもらう仕事はデザインの微調整です。」などの構造の文章です。

  1. HTML is a markup langauge, not a program language.
  2. Your task is to find wrong HTML codes.
  3. The instruction is in the attachment.
  4. Examples are often easier to understand than text explanations.
  5. The role of a web browser is to read HTML documents and display them.

英語で書くときは「A is…」「This is….」で表現したら、複雑な構造を考えなくて済む。

応用

問題:

HTML is a language to make a website.
It’s a markup language. So, what’s the purpose of using HTML?
It tells a browser the content of web pages and some other information
about them.
In other words, HTML codes define the content of web pages.
The HTML codes don’t appear on a web page.

  1. There are different document types on the web.
  2. There is no difference.
  3. Is there a search box in the page?
  4. There are two main types of personal message:
    a feature on social platforms and private messaging services.
    There are three options for solving this problem.

練習:

Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are all examples in which social media included personal messaging features to provide space for private interactions amongst their users.
WhatsApp, Kik Messenger, and Snapchat are examples of pure private messaging tools.
Users create and sign up for accounts to connect privately with selected friends.

Quick/quickly

  2. He responded quickly.

(quickly responseの組み合わせはおかしい)

fast/fast

He’s a fast speaker.
He speaks fast.

veryは?

名詞を詳しく説明することは文の構造的にダメ

(very problemはおかしい。very problematicは良い。
problematicは形容詞)

問題:

1.Do it (careful/carefully).
2.He speaks a (good/ well) Japanese.
3.His Japanese is (good/well).
4.His PHP codes are (good/ well) written.
